# Anonymize test data

Hi,

Does Novulo already have functionality to anonymize personal data in the application ? I tried searching components/processes on the app server but could not find anything.  
If not we can built a component ourselves, in that case what would be the best approach to anonymize the data, I see in string extensions ‘GenerateRandomStringAction’, would that be a good extension for this or are there better ways ?
