# Background Process plugin: scheduleservice has an invalid value

When you configure the Background Process plugin in the Architect and get the error “Pluginconfigurationitem schedulingservice has an invalid value” \>

it means you miss some configuration.  
First, consume N\_NovuloSchedulingService consept.  
Then go to the Tree view \> Background process plugin \> right click \> Properties \> Plugin Configuration \> set Schedulin Service Typehandler = N\_NovuloSchedulingService.
