Hi all, I have a question about the use of corporate identities.

Corporate identities are selectable on multiple levels: e.g. content blocks, activity templates, relations. What is the logic here? Do these overwrite each other? Do I need to select them on each available level? Or not?

Hi Alex, this would depend on the exact components you are using in your application, but in general:

  • the corporate identity at the content block level is only used for previewing the formatted content at the content block level. Content blocks can be reused across different templates, so at that level it is unknown in which corporate identity they will be rendered.
  • at the activity template level, the content is previewed in the corporate identity that is set at the owner of that activity template (if any) - in my application, there is no setting for a corporate identity on the activity template itself
  • on an activity, the corporate identity is taken from the owner organization

So when your application is similar to mine, you just have to set the corporate identity on your own organization(s).
