Novulo Policy administration: How to implement (WIP)

This topic covers the general implementation of an insurance application. In this application you will be able to create and maintain insurances including packages/policies/coverages. It is also possible to create/configure and maintain products.

Components needed

In order to use the policy administration, you’ll need to add the following components to your model. (see: The Novulo Composer)

In several cases, multiple alternative components can be used. In this example, the one mentioned first is used.

  • M4207 is the core for the Policy administration
  • M3391 and M4464 are used for handling and configuring (insurance) products for packages/policies/coverages including price list items for specific price lists which can we used for pools e.g.
  • M4643 is used for handling properties (questions and answers) for insurances
  • M3036 and M??? are used for being able to invoice customers based on insurances
  • ** ** is used for the ledger administration. (see: Novulo Finance: Doubly-entry bookkeeping entries and components )

Necessary is to create a my organisation and a first contact for yourself

  • Create a person for yourself
  • Create a my organization
  • Link these together through connections
  • Go to “Users” and link the contact of yourself to your own user

Product configuration preparation

Create a product assortment
Create a first sales channel where your first product assortment will be configured
