Phasing out Novulo Network as SSO-provider

Dear partner or customer,

For various applications, you are currently using Single Sign-On via Novulo Network with the option 'Log in with Novulo Support’ on the login screen. We are going to phase this out for applications where Novulo is not the owner.
In this email, we explain why we are making this change, how you can set it up yourself, and when it will take place.

Why
From a security standpoint, it makes sense that the owner of the application can determine who has access to their applications. After all, the owner is responsible for the data stored in the application and therefore also for who has access to it.
Currently SSO authorization requests are submitted via service requests in the Novulo Portal, which always involves processing time.
Phasing out SSO management via Novulo Network gives you, as a partner or customer, more control over your own applications, and you will be responsible for the configuration.

When
Starting November 20, 2025, new SSO access requests will no longer be processed. This applies to all applications where the owner of the model is not Novulo. You can find the owner of a specific model in the appserver under the company linked to a model.

Starting December 20, 2025, partners will no longer be able to use Novulo Network as an SSO provider for non-Novulo applications. However, it may still be possible for Novulo employees to use this for applications where both the partner/customer and Novulo need access. Logging into Composer and Deployment will remain available.

Alternatives
We offer support for logging in via Microsoft Entra ID. Instructions for configuration are provided in this community article (Entra SSO for Novulo Applications).
It is also possible to create your own Novulo application and use it as an identity provider. The steps for this are described in this community article (User Novulo as SSO provider for other Novulo applications). Would you prefer to use another identity provider that supports SAML? That is also an option.
