Archiving emails from Outlook

You can add emails from Outlook to service requests by archiving them.

Prerequisites

Make sure you installed the Novulo Outlook Add-In and your application has the Novulo Outlook Add-on Web Service plugin in its composition.

Archiving emails

Select the email which you want to link to a service request > right mouse click > Archive.

You can also use the Archive button in the Novulo tab.

Notice! First you need to fill the Settings, otherwise the Archive button will be greyed-out. Please, follow the installations > point 9 and further.

As soon as you clicked the Archive button the following screen appears:

  • Direction: filled in automatically.

  • Description: the subject of the email is added automatically.

  • Person: filled in automatically after selecting a service request.

  • Contract: you do not need to fill this.

  • Claim: type here the number of a service request where you want to archive the email. Make sure you type SR before the number.

  • Save as new” button will create a new service request for the selected customer.

  • Save as existing“ button: make sure to enter the claim (SR number) if your email is a follow-up on a claim/SR.
