I want to create an XML export of our Rights profiles for auditing.
Also to create a backup on a test server and import it on a production server.
Is there any of doing this?

This is a very good question.
In fact there is a standard Dataset we provide to export right profiles.
The standard Dataset is available in Deployment [Export voor Rechtenprofielen 3.7, 3.8, 3.9].
This export allows you to configurate rights on a Testing environment and distribute trough the OTAP street.
This xml does not give insides for audit, because it only show structureId’s of UI elements and database. Best way for auditing is to show in the application it self.
