HCMS, how do I use the webpagetemplate to auto-fill

Hi all,
I use different templates for different types of pages.
Right now i’m working on a blog-page. This blog-page will always have the same content-containers at the same places.

So when i go in the HCMS module. Go to webpage templates and select a template. Then i go to “allowed containertemplates”. i get the option to select if the container is optional or “standaard toevoegen aan pagina”.
I thought when I select standard, that whenever i use that template it’s automatically added to my page. But now I still have to add it to the page?

This way I wouldn’t have to make the structure of the page everytime I want to add a new page.

TL;DR: How can I make it so that my cms containers are automatically added when I use a webpage template? Or is this not the right way to use HCMS templates?

Hi Lode,

You are using the headless CMS correctly. It seems that generating the containers based on the Web page template no longer works. Could you create a SR for this?

Hi Aimee,
I tried to make a SR, but I couldn’t select a project, so I can’t make the SR.
Is there any others methods to make a SR perhaps?

Hi Lode,

I added you to a project, can you check if you can pick a project?

Greetings,
Aimée
