How to open a second architect

Hi,
I want to have 2 components open at once to compare them. But whenever I try to open the architect a second time I get the error: Account already in use. It then asks me to re log-in, which I do and then shows the same error again. I used to be able to have 2 architects open at once. Has there been an update that took that functionality out?

Hallo Mila,

There is nothing changed here, still works for me right now.
Did you start one Architect while on another IP-address/connection?

I also get this error when i:

  1. Start the Architect via the Architect starter and log in
  2. Connect to VPN
  3. Start another Architect via the Architect starter and try to log in

As long as you start them both from the same IP-address it should be fine.
Might that be the case with you maybe?

Hi Redmer,
I don’t use a VPN so that shouldn’t be the problem. I did try to open two architects at a time without having the first one open on a specific model and that fixed it for me :smiley:

Maybe not of use anymore, but we @ Maia on our MacBooks get this error message a lot when trying to open a second architect. It seems to happen when we switch from the network (e.g. have the architect open at the office and then at home).

Advice we got from someone from Novulo is to then retrieve the logs (you can open the folder from the architect starter) and send them via a service request (or maybe in the community here)
