In order to automate printing from Novulo web-based application, a set-up is needed that allows to execute commands to local printers from the Novulo application.
For this purpose, Novulo has developed components that allow connections with local printers, using the PrintNode software to actually link the local printers.
The Novulo components and Printnode support printing PDF and RAW printing, including ZPL for Zebra printers.
In order to use this, you need to install the following Novulo components to gain access to printers and the PrintNode API.
- M5030 for core printer functionality
- M9224 for the connection with PrintNode
Additionally, several components are available to make use of this functionality
- M10662 and M10663 allow for linking printers to specific user accounts, in a single tenant and multi-tenant environment respectively;
- M6760 allows for linking printers to specific shipping methods, to use in WMS environments to print carrier labels
- M5036 allows for creating ZPL-labels (core component). M5398 allows you to create specific ZPL labels at delivery level and M10664 to print product-related labels.
