When you are using a Novulo application to send e-mails they can sometimes end up in the spam folder on the receiving end. It’s important to add the IP-address of the server you are hosting your Novulo application on to an SPF-record.
An SPF-record contains the e-mailservers and domains that are allowed to send e-mails on behalf of your domain. Each domain can have one SPF-record, but the record can contain extra servers. The sender of the e-mail will be verified if it’s allowed to use the sender e-mailadres. This verification is based on the IP-address of the sending server.
To configure this, you can add the SPF-record in the DNS-zone of your domain. This record is created as TXT-record, because there are no specific SPF-DNS-records.
