So suddenly after wanting to update my application I get the error message these two plug-ins aren’t compatible anymore. Even when trying to deploy the shoppingcart without any changes it comes up. Is there a quick fix to get the NB-version or a workaround for this incompatibility?
As the message states, there is an NB plugin version ( CMS HTTP Component r121877 ) available in deployment. You can add this to your installation. Or if you are not actively using your website, because you would be still testing, you could ignore the message.
The thing is, both plug-ins have been in the application since the start and nothing changed on my end. I don’t know how to update the plug-in P54 to r121877. Do I need to start a maintenance order for that?
If your website is working as normally or you don’t use it, then there is no need for the NB plugin. Otherwise you need to add the NB plugin to your next order.
I think I see an order for a testapplication in deployment created by you, but it does not actively use a website, so in this case you can choose to not include the NB plugin.
If you want to include it however, in your next order, go to the installation and on the NB-plugins tab add the mentioned NB-plugin.
In general: when you want to make changes to the plugins with your application, you don’t need to start an order, but it needs an application update. You create a new installation at your instance and add the NB-plugins to it. The installer will then notice that the database is the same version and will skip the database-related steps and only perform the code-relelated update steps.
