A transaction is always added to an existing claim.
In the main menu, navigate to the “Customers” tile. Select the client for whom the claim should be administered, the relations page will open. Navigate to the “Service Requests” section.
Select the claim for which you want to create a transaction. A new tab will open with the claim report.
Navigate to “Transactions” by clicking the tile or under “More” in the upper right corner.
Click on the “+” sign to create a new transaction.
The transaction consists of 2 parts: ‘Claim transaction’ and ‘Claim transaction line’.
Fill in the following fields:
- Service request: Default is Claim
- Date: Date of transaction
- Description: Free to fill in
- From: Who pays the transaction? This is a drop down menu.
When “From” is filled in the screen will be extended:
We continue with filling in the following fields:
- Pay via contact: Optional to fill in
- To: Recipient
- From bank account: Default linked to the “From” contact.
- To bank account: Default linked to the “to” contact.
- Payment method: Drop down menu.
- Currency: Default EUR
Select “Save”.
Now we can continue by creating a claim transaction line. Click on the “+” to create a new claim transaction line.
Fill in the following fields:
- Claim transaction: Link to the transaction.
- Cost center type: This could be a link to the Profit center type registered at the reserve.
- Description: Free to fill in.
- Amount: Amount to be paid out.
- Service line: Service line of the file.
- System version:
- Journal entry plan: Link to the right journal
- Recovered: When ‘Yes’, fill in the box.
After completing the claim form, you can save it. After saving, you can use an acceptance template under the “Acceptance” heading to determine whether the claim transaction meets the acceptance criteria. If so, the status will be changed from ‘Draft’ to ‘Final’. If not, the ‘Acceptance’ section will display any failures. Examples include not meeting the authorization limit or an uncompleted or negative personal assessment.
