Novulo Store
To understand the basics of the deployment process in Novulo you can start with deploying via in-app Novulo Store. In this case you do not need to go from the Composer to the Deployment and then to the Installer – you can perform all steps in one place.
1. Log in to your application
Then go All apps > Application maintenance > Novulo Store
Or alternatively:
Log in to your application > Main screen > Novulo Store.
2. Add a component in the Novulo Store.
Main screen > click on “Novulo store”. Search for a component (we suggest the training component M10986) > Apply > click on “Add to cart”.
Or alternatively:
Main screen > All apps > Views > Novulo products (1) > M10986 > add to cart (2) > check the cart (3).
A cart in this context is your current application.
Check the terminology post.
An alternative way of creating a cart is through the Composer, this however is out of scope for this post as we only focus on the in-app store.
3. Check your cart and start the workflow
Click on “Cart” (1) > hover the “Selecteren” button (2) in the progress bar > click on “Controleer” (3):
The process checks configuration (like composing in the Composer).
Notice that M10986 needs some other default components (for example, M3391 Novulo Products) and datasets so components/datasets are automatically added to your composition:
Hover the “Samenstellen” button (1) > click on “Update mijn applicatie” > “Start update”:
Hover the button “Installeren” (1) > click on “Update status” (2):
The process starts integrating, generating, and installing like it would in Deployment.
You can also see the status of the update in deployment > stock applications > your app > orders/installations:
4. After an update
If there are no errors or installation concerns, the application is updated successfully. You will be logged out from your stock application and need to login again.
If there are errors or installation concerns, ask your Novulo contact to help with resolving them.
5. Check the application
You should see components you added via cart within your application.
